This page is for articles that are too long to put in the Prairie Dawg, news that is too urgent to wait until the next issue comes out, and links.
The “Members’ Links” are to your own website(s) – the only rule is that the website has to be yours. The “Member-Recommended Links” are to other websites you would like to share with the members. Commercial sites are fine; affiliate links are fine; and you can put a business website in “Members’ Links” as long as the business belongs to you.
There is (for now) a limit of 20 recommended websites per member (so we don’t wind up with 5,000), and we won’t include links to pornographic (so-called “adult”) sites, sites that promote hatred for any ethnic or religious group, or sites that encourage an illegal activity. Other than that, anything goes: if you like it, share it!
Please send news, articles, and links to ndmensa@valkyriepub.com. Thanks!

Scholarship Chairman Needed
North
Dakota Scholarship Chairman Gay Rawson has resigned, after doing an excellent
job for years, and we need a volunteer for the position. Local volunteers
choose a local student on the basis of essays, and the Mensa Education the
Research Foundation pays for their $300 scholarship. A wonderful opportunity to
help a gifted North Dakota student, and it doesn’t cost our own group anything!
Applications
begin in September, and by then we need a volunteer to arrange publicity for
the program, line up judges, receive and prepare the essays for judging, tally
results, and send the results on to the Regional Scholarship Chairman. Local
Group Participation Forms are due August 1. Contact Brian Tinker if you want to
volunteer.
