Mike Knudson, Andre Jordheim, and Ann Knudson enjoy pizza at the President’s House.

Zota Soda from Vermont – Yum! We had glasses so everyone could try several kinds.

Proctor-in-training Bobbi Holzworth gave her first supervised test at the RG.

Kent and Theresa Klostreich and Ann Knudson at the picnic

At the picnic: Kent, Ann, Theresa, Mike, Andre (behind plate), Brian.

Andre came out!

Ann Knudson relaxes after dinner…

Mike Knudson relaxes even more.

LocSec Brian Tinker…

…was planning diabolically difficult Treasure Hunt puzzles.

Andre, Mike, Ann, and Brian at the Broken Spoke for Sunday brunch.

Here I caught them unaware.

Gary Olson, “The Dino Guy,” lectured on dinosaurs.

Gary’s T-Rex slide up close. We got to hold a jawbone from this specimen.

He showed slides of the process of excavation and of its results.

A Triceratops skull. Gary found “Bob,” one of the most complete Triceratops skeletons ever found.

Skeleton of a duckbill dinosaur.

Gary did more than talk: he bought bones! This is the femur of a Triceratops.

We got to hold the bones. This is Andre with the claw of a Tyrannosaurus Rex…

…and with the Triceratops femur.

Ann and Mike with T-Rex toe bones. One bone had a cavity from an infection. Poor thing.

Shirley with the Triceratops femur. It had big holes made by T-Rex teeth, poor thing.

Ann and Mike with a Stegosaurus tail spike. That thing’s BIG!

The whole T-Rex toe laid out on the President’s House bench.

Four bones of the toe, with Shirley’s arm for comparison

Underexposed, but our best shot of the T-Rex jawbone. Some teeth are missing because they shed them and grew new ones. L-R: Shirley, Andre, Ann, Mike.

Gary and Mensans with the T-Rex jawbone (end tooth is under Shirley’s jaw; other long teeth are in front of Ann’s face and on both sides of Gary’s). Next year, somebody bring a better camera. He is going to bring the bones again in 2007!

Our venue is in the National Register of Historic Places. We plan to use it again in 2007 – come and join us!
